The intention behind setting up this survey was to a better idea of where others are in their experience with Balanitis.

The results so far are very saddening as there are many suffering worse then I was.

This survey has been going on now for three years and you can see that that many are stopping to complete it. However to the one that have I Thank You.

November 23, 2011 current results

Question #1:
Balanitis has been apart of my life for (# years):
218 responded with 82 with in their first year 102 someplace between 2 and 8 years

Question #2:
I experience Balanitis flair ups (pain, blisters, ripping, etc):
186 responded with 99 in constant pain with the remaining spread out fairly evenly from weekly to once a year flare ups.

Question #3:
I can retract my foreskin when not in an erect state with:
I take from the high number saying that in this state its not to bad to pull back their foreskins. The majority of the 186 that responded are still young in the progress of this dis-ease with 8 having advanced issues of not being able to.

Question #4:
When in an erect state, my foreskin pulls back with:
out of the 171 that responded to this question we start to see the painful results of Balanitis, with all having effort to severe pain.

Question #5:
Which of the following best describes how you are dealing with Balanitis?
207 responded to this question with 60 in silence (32%). With 78 (40%) in one way or another trying to avoid being seen to not taking part in a sex life.  but the saddest number is there are at least 24% (49 from this survey) that are thinking about circumcision.

By doing this very non - clinical survey one can see there are a lot of men that are suffering around the world. It is estimated that there is someplace (guestimating) higher than 30 million men across the globe that are 'NOT' getting the help they need.
